Cretan Land barley rusk

 

Rusks have been the center of Cretans’ diet for centuries as they do not contain any preservatives and are full of fiber and can be used in every day meals.

Barley rusks contain B vitamins, mainly folic acid and vitamin B6, fiber, antioxidants, silicon (helps to regenerate and protect our bones), chromium, amino acids, magnesium and phosphorus. Barley contains less gluten than wheat, therefore drips faster and lasts longer.
